Wolverton & Associates is a growing multi-discipline engineering and land surveying firm. Candidates must be well versed in performing traffic studies, signal timing and traffic signal design. A general knowledge of ITS/ATMS design plans is a plus. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude working with industry related software such as Synchro and MicroStation. This position requires someone with a strong work ethic as the project/client demands typically exceed 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will also have a proven track record in traffic engineering and are highly organized as well as great problem solvers. This position is responsible for the preparation of traffic signal design plans, ITS/ATMS design plans, traffic impact studies and traffic signal timing plans. Duties include assisting the project manager with other tasks such as due diligence, field data collection and plan preparation. Position requires strong communication skills due to the amount of collaborating involved with the team as well as outside agencies. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required & E.I.T. preferred. Prefer 0-2 years experience including Microstation; however, recent college graduates will be considered. Duties include correspondence, document reviews, scheduling, coordinating and all other administrative support as requested. Position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet goals and deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills and high aptitude for detail are required as well as proven track record of motivating and influencing others. Eight (8) years of administrative assistant experience in a fast-paced and demanding environment is required.
